Narrow streets with cobblestones lead through churches, Moorish palaces, squares and impressive views. Through the city runs the spectacular, 130 meter deep canyon of the Tajo. You have the choice of one or two weeks in a hotel of your choice. Highlights - White villages of Andalusia - Beautiful nature - Tapas and wine You will be amazed at the diversity of landscapes that you find around Ronda. South of Ronda you cycle through rugged mountains with some white villages, hidden between the green chestnut trees. In the west between the cork oak forests and needle forests some of the most beautiful white villages. In the green valley of the Rio Guardiaro you ride along almond and plum trees. North of Ronda, the setting is something dryer. You will find wavy grain and sunflower fields, a Roman theater (free admission) and the cave dwellings of Setenil. To the east the road over the Pas of the Wind is a popular excursion. You will not encounter much traffic in the country. Near Ronda you will find a network of paths and roads you can explore very well per ATB. Cycling in the summer is no problem, provided you leave right after breakfast, early in the morning. At night, the temperatures in the mountains are quite low. In the winter it is often clear weather, but periods of rain and low temperatures are also possible. Even without a bike, there is plenty to do in Ronda. The city has many monuments and it is a pleasure to explore the historic center with its parks, squares and fountains. There is a large indoor pool with sports. And what about a Flamenco evening? The two most famous cities of Andalusia are fine for a day trip: Granada by train and Seville by bus (travel time approximately 2.5 hours one way). Do you want a day Mediterranean Sea, you can take the bus to the beach of Marbella. And at night, when you are back in Ronda, you can gather at one of the many terraces for a glass of "Ronda" wine and a tapa. For your stay in Ronda you can choose from three hotels: - Hotel San Francisco: central location, room with TV and air conditioning and a lift. - Polo Hotel: centrally located, luxurious and larger, room with TV, air conditioning and elevator, excellent breakfast buffet and large lounge with great seats.
