From the well preserved historical towns of Belgium to the little villages of France. Cycling on quiet country roads, towpaths, paved forest trails and an occasional cobblestone road. You can visit several castles, including the famous Versailles. You also visit the town where Van Gogh lived and painted, see the well known war museum in Peronne, a mine museum in Lewarde. You stay in Belgiums most well kept town Bruges and visit lovely Paris, the city of lights. The terrain starts flat in Belgium, but we will also climb some hills in France. The average distance is 40 km (25 miles) a day, most roads are flat and paved and you will cycle mainly in the countryside. Every day you can join our cycle-guide on a bike-tour, go by yourselves on the bike or stay on the boat to enjoy the sights. In the evenings our guide offers you a city-walk. On the Feniks we think it is very important that you feel and act as at home, we will do as much as we can to give you a pleasant and comfortable stay. It is possible that we have to make some changes to the program, because of local conditions. | The route from day to day + km | | sat | | Bruges, embarkation.
